    Generally, the answer is "you Categorize the expenditure to an existing Category or one you create, just like any other expense." 
    If you're using the Business product and want the expense to show up on Schedule C  and your business P&L report then you have to associate the Category you use for the expenditure to a line item on Schedule C.  There's no line item on Schedule C called "Driveway to store business equipment" so you'll have to decide what's the most appropriate line item to use.  And, of course, the other approach to this expenditure is to capitalize it as a business asset and then depreciate/amortize it over time.  This gets into the realm of "tax advice" which really is not a subject the Quicken Community encourages.
