I am trying to find transactions with a dollar amount between $2000 and $4000. How can I do this as the Find dialog does not have that capability? Please add this feature.

If you haven't already, you may want to consider sorting the transactions in the register or report by the amount column.0

I am asking for a feature. Just like my bank has that allows me to search ranges for a number of dates, dollar amounts, check numbers, etc. I was on the phone with my bank and I couldn't search for a range and it was senseless to me that the feature isn't already there as it seems like a basic function.0

And if you ARE looking "anywhere in Q", click the "All Transactions" header of your "Account Bar" and perform the same search. For either method to work, you'll need to make visible the "Amount" column, which you can do by clicking the Gear icon above your right slider bar, click "Register Columns" and check "Amount".I'd suggest turning this column off when you've completed your search, as it's too confusing to get the sign of the transaction correct on data entry. Use the "Charge/Payment" or "Payment/Deposit "columns for your data entry.Q user since DOS version 5

We may even sort the results of a Find in the Search Results window by amount using a left click on the column title.0

I appreciate the work around and it still would be convenient to have a find feature like the one I suggested, or do you think it's redundant and will never happen?0

Quicken has been around for decades and I've been a user that long. Many times I've wondered why a fundamental function like searching on an amont range is absent from this app. I love quicken but this lack of capability boggles my mind. IMHO this is basic functionality that is missing. The works around are ok but waste precious time compared to something that is offered by my bank. Please add amount range searching to Quicken Mac.
