Program crashes repeatedly

For Quicken for Windows, the program asks for a password and crashes after entering the password. This is a new phenomenon. Is this happening to others? Solutions?

    Before we try any troubleshooting, could you please specify exactly which password it is prompting you for (Data file password or Quicken ID password)?
