Is there a way to determine date of last update to quicken exe

Running R39.23 and need to determine when it was installed on the laptop. Is there a way to determine the date of that installation?

Thank you for contacting the Quicken Community with this question. 

You can see the timestamp of the latest Quicken update by navigating to File Explorer > This PC > C: Drive > Program Files (x86) > Check the timestamp for "qw" in the list.

Quicken makes an automatic backup of your data file with a date, time, and update version number in the back up file name. Check your back up directory.

Thanks but the suggestion did not work for me.

No such file or folder (qw) on my windows 10 desktop. Is there another object to look for?

Searched the entire drive and found only these backup.

R-38.29-2022-02-16.QDF-backup

The implication is the update from R38.30 occurred on 2022-03-12.  Assuming you allowed Quicken to perform the update, this would be when you would have upgraded to R39.23.  If you want to know the time just before the update was performed, check the modification time of the Quicken file backup.

If you are just interested in the modification time of Quicken exe file (aka, qw.exe), check the Quicken program folder.  This time stamp, however, may not be when the Quicken program was last updated.

I am running R38.30 - so there is 1 entry (I deleted the rest) of when the latest detection of a newer version avail for install.

As mentioned above - it is located in the Program Files (86) folder..... under \Quicken\ -
C:\Program Files (x86)\Quicken\

and the datestamp may be reflecting the date it was installed by you -

ok, i found the file and it has time stamps for when it was created 5/3/2021, when it was last modified (3/10/2022) and last accessed (today)

Why was it important to determine these dates?
