Selecting Accounts

It would be nice to be able to select all Retirement Accounts when running reports and choosing accounts. You can "Select All" or "Clear All", but it would be nice to be able to select all retirement accounts. I often run a capital gains report for just my retirement accounts when making a sale. And, I have to select each one.
Thanks,
David

In the Investment Performance Report, I am able to select only retirement accounts (even if my naming didn't immediately tell me which are retirement accounts. Are you not getting this option? On which report(s)OR, are you asking for a "Select All Retirement" button, which I doubt would be implemented.Q user since DOS version 5

One thing you can do is to customize the report the way you want and then save it with a meaningful name like Capital Gains YTD - Retirement.
When you open the saved version, it will have the same customizations.QWin Premier subscription0 -
@Jim_Harman's solution will work ... but beware anytime that you add/delete retirement accounts that the customization will need to be adjusted and that template re-saved.

When you save a report, there is a new-ish menu that is supposed to control what happens if new accounts, securities, categories or tags are added since the report was saved. The choices are Warn, Lock, or Add automatically.
This is supposed to work in conjunction with the All and Selected options on the customization tabs.
I have not tested any of this; YMMV.QWin Premier subscription0 -
Yes, I meant "Select All Retirement" button. It would be easy to implement and useful.
The workaround are good ideas too.
I have some saved reports and yeah, the customization screen pops up if you have new securities added.0
