Scanning Issues with Canon TR8620 Printer

When I try to scan a receipt into Quicken, the scanner scans and produces a preview file. However, when I press the "Scan" button to save the receipt to my transaction nothing happens. The preview screen stays on the screen, and I cannot exit the screen. I have to open up my Task Manager and close the Quicken application in order to do anything else. I have been using Quicken for many years and recently upgraded my HP printer to a Canon Printer.
