Bank of America accounts

Is anyone else having this problem?
In the last week my Bank of America accounts are not downloading transactions. I do not get an error, and the balance gets updated. But no transactions even though they have posted. Deactivated twice this week and switched between Bank of America - other states connection and Bank of America - Quicken. None of this resolved the issue.

I am sorry to hear about this issue with transactions missing after downloads. Thank you for letting us know about this problem here on the Quicken Community.
First, try removing any filters that may be active by clicking on the green Reset button atop the account register if and when it appears, then check the sorting order by clicking on the box with the word Date atop the associated column within the register, itself.
Also, what connection method is currently being used to add or link your accounts to online banking services through Bank of America? You can verify this anytime by going to Tools > Account List and then clicking on the Edit button in the row associated with the affected accounts. Next, go to the Online Services tab in the new window that appears afterward. The information we are looking for should be found under the Online Setup callout box.
I look forward to your response.
Thank you,

Jared, I could not find a green reset button, but my filter is all transactions. What I am describing is that in the Download Transactions section at the bottom of the register, new transactions have stopped appearing. And the count always shows (0).
My connection type is Express Web Connect. The only option I am given with BoA.0 -

Having the same issue, says it is downloaded, but it didn't. Had to manually import transactions, which is not Okay. This seems to be an issue with the latest update.0

Similar issues as no transactions have been downloaded for B of A account since mid-July 2022. Updated Quicken today and B of A two-factor kept prompting for delivery method (stuck in loop). Third item: After updating Quicken and restarting, pop-up in Quicken told me needed to update Quicken!!! Does anybody actually test the updates before they release them?? The last 5 updates have disabled something with at least one of my accounts at different institutions. Very frustrating and Quicken ALWAYS blames the institution. Really wish for a better more stable end product.4

BofA bill pay transactions still not downloading. Makes no difference if the bill pay transaction was initiated by an e-bill or manually entered. BofA says "not my problem - call Quicken". All transactions are updated when cleared by bank and reflected in the account reconciliation.2

I'm having similar issues. Webconnect download/import only allows me one account at a time and I have many.1

I too have the same issue described above. now get cc-508. I contacted BofA. I was told BofA no longer supports Quicken Direct Connect for new accounts, So if you delete and try to add back your account, you can't get back in. The rep said existing accounts are qrandfathered in.
Quicken Tec, can you verify this on your side and post to the community. thanks1 -

The rep said existing accounts are qrandfathered in.This has been "sort of" true for many years. If you had Direct Connect, you should be able to reconnect Quicken to that, but only if you use the exact same user ID that previously worked with Direct Connect. DC is tied to the user ID, not to the account.I said "sort of" true because B of A no longer supports DC for new users. I am an old user who recently opened a new account and it downloads fine via DC.

Is everyone using Bank of America - All Other States as their account when connecting or Bank of America - Quicken? I was using BOA-Q, but when I tried to fix this issue by deactivating it defaulted to BOA-AOS0

EWC and EWC+ are less reliable connection methods than Direct Connect. EWC and EWC+ only does transaction downloads, Direct Connect does transaction downloads and can send online bill payments to your bank.If you are currently using BofA Direct Connect and making online bill payments from Quicken using BofA online bill pay, with the switch to EWC+, you will get less reliable transaction downloads and you will lose the capability to make online bill payments from Quicken.Quicken user since Q1999. Oh thank you for the explanation. I only use EWC and just download transactions from BOA through Quicken.0 -

As of 09/23/22 was the last successful Bank of America transactions. None have downloaded since. There are several transactions that should have been updated into Quicken for Windows. Update Summary shows account updated, 0 transactions. Sent in logs from Quicken Help menu.0 -
I have the same issue but sporadically.0

I'm having the same issue. When I set up a bill payment on BOA's website, the transaction is not downloading into Quicken. This started after the new authorization process between Quicken & BOA began.
This has to be a known issue as it coincided with the reauthorization process. However, I see no mention of Quicken acknowledging nor working on it. Very disappointing!0 -

Chris, is it that EWC+ doesn't download (BoA -> QW) or that it doesn't upload (QW -> BoA), or both?
I've "upgraded" (converted) to EWC+ and I've downloaded bill payments from BoA to my QW without a problem (except for that annoying dialogue box on BoA that wants me to download every time I log on).0 -
Express Web Connect + only supports downloading of the transactions and online balance. It doesn't include any "bill payment information" including sending or retrieving of payments that have not yet cleared the financial institution.Signature:

I agree, that's true from a purely technical position. However, from a practical perspective, it DOES download "bill payments" once they've cleared from the financial institution and ACH. That might be what E&OH were concerned about.1

How do you know if you have been upgraded to Web Connect+? In order to download my transactions from my bank account I still click on update now in quicken and it downloads from Bank of America-Quicken and syncs to the cloud.0
-
When you go to the individual account register page, look in the upper left corner of the screen. Under the Account Name, where it shows the last date of updating, it also states the connection method.1

It will show a plus sign at the end if it was really converted to the new connection method.

I think this might be a problem that is best handled by Quicken Support:
