How can I have all my updates set for a daily downloads automatic (Q Mac)

I want my daily downloads and update automatically done since I am going
to be away for sometime

Unfortunately, there is not a feature in QMac to automatically update on a schedule.

One thing you could do is use a third party automation tool such as Keyboard Maestro to accomplish this. It could also be done with a combination of AppleScript and Automator. However, either of these options might be subject to failure if the the computer shuts down due to, say, a short power outage or a system glitch.

All that said, I'm wondering why you want to do this rather than just downloading everything in one batch when you get back. Are you going to be gone so long that the transactions will no longer be available to download?
