Changing Required Categories

After opening a loan account, I noticed the split categories for the Opening Balance transaction contained $14.94 which was a Finance Charge. However, the category was named Adjustment, which is a required category. No matter how many times I try, quicken for Mac 6.10.3 will not change the category name from Adjustment to Finance charge. Is there any way to change a required category to the correct one? I don't want to convert to a liability account.

Quicken will not let you change or delete a built-in required category. Doing so would cause untold problems elsewhere in the program.

What you can do, however, is to change the Split in the Opening Balance transaction and select a different category name.

It will not let me change the Adjustment Category to Finance Charge in the Opening Balance transaction.
