Troubleshooting - printing Savings Goals

Hi - I just started using savings goals. When I try to print the savings goals, from the savings goals screen, all I get is a blank piece of paper with "Planning" at the top and today's date, but the savings goals themselves do not print.
Whether I print from the File > Print Savings Goals option or Ctrl-P while on the Savings Goals page, I get the same
Can anyone help? thanks

I am sorry to hear about these issues with printing your Savings Goals. Thank you for inquiring about this here on the Quicken Community.
First, what brand of printer are you using, and what version of the Windows Operating System? Also, is this a new issue; have you been able to print the Savings Goals successfully before?
I look forward to your answers, and I hope to provide further recommendations going forward, if this becomes necessary.
Thank you,

Hi : I am using Windows 10, and the Brother MFC-L3770CDW printer.
I have been a Quicken user for 13 years but only just started using Savings Goals this week (so never printed before)
If this helps: If I do Planning>Tax Center and then Ctrl-P to print ... works fine
But Planning>Savings Goals ... I get the blank page with "Planning" at the top and the date just below0 -

Thanks so much for getting back to me with answers to my earlier questions, and more details about the situation. I do apologize for these new problems with the printing feature.
It's a bit strange given that you are able to print other reports and screens, but have you made sure that your printer driver is up to date? Also, make sure that your Quicken software is up to date by navigating to Help > Check for Updates... in the upper menu at the top of the screen while Quicken is open.
I am eager to correspond with you further, if you have the chance to check back in with us.
Thank you,

Hi Jared- I just confirmed that my printer driver is up to date and so is my Quicken version. Some more info that might help:
1) Planning > Budgets if I Ctrl-P, it prints out the budget, top of the page title says "Budget Details" (i.e., works fine)
2) Planning > Debt Reduction, If I Ctrl-P, I get a blank page with "Planning" and the date at the top
3) Planning > Lifetime planner, If I Ctrl-P, prints out fine
4) Planning > Tax Center, prints out fine
5) Planning > Savings Goals, blank page with "Planning" at the top. I get the same thing if I print to PDF, btw0 -

Thank you for getting back to me with more information about the issue. I do apologize for any confusion regarding this matter.
I want to make sure: are you trying to simply print the entire 'Savings Goals' screen? If so, this wouldn't be possible ordinarily, although you may be able to obtain the information you are seeking through the Reports available in this tab, and these should be able to be printed. Navigate to the upper right-side of the screen and click on the Reports button to open a dropdown menu with a number of options regarding this. Is there something in particular you are looking for, in terms of data?
I hope this clarifies the situation more, and I look forward to your response.
Thank you,

Jared - I wasn't sure what would print out, but I am pretty sure that a blank page is not what i was looking for!
I am looking for a report that I think does not exist - but please tell me if it does - that shows the goal amount and how far along towards that goal I am - in other words, the information that is on the Goals screen, but does not have to be the screen printout itself. Does that make sense? is there such a report? (when I was searching the forum, I came across at least one request, I think, for this kind of report, so I am not sure it exists at all)0 -

Thank you for getting back to me with more information about what is happening. I am not aware of any Reports that meet these exact specifications, and I do apologize about this missing feature.
First, there is currently an Idea post regarding such a feature that can be found in the link provided here. Be sure to add your vote by clicking on the icon with the number in the square icon with the upward facing triangle, featured below.I also want to take a second to explain the process of submitting Idea posts. You can create an Idea post using the instructions provided in this link, here. Essentially, users are able to suggest a feature that they would like to see implemented in the software, and it is then voted on by the members of the Quicken Community. If the proposal is popular enough, it is then handed off to the development team for consideration.
I hope that is helpful.
Thank you,
Quicken Jared
