How to setup Loan (Q Mac)

I setup a manual loan account, back dated to 2017 and put in the interest rates and some payments. Looking at the payment schedule, it put everything into principle and nothing into interests. What did I missed?

    Is the interest amount of the payments expected to be the same each time, or will they vary with each payment?

    Hi Anja, it is variable rates and started years ago, not from today is the problem.
