transfer money to new account (Q Mac)

Previously I had manually entered my I-bonds that I bought at treasury direct.  I had shown a transfer from my bank account to that manual account to show that I had used that money to buy that bond.  Today I found that I can create a treasury direct account and link it.  It now shows it as a cash balance.  It does not allow me to add transactions.  If I go back to my bank account and change that transfer of money to now go to the treasury account I end up with double the balance.  I can't find a way to move that money into the treasury account without creating a double balance. Is there a way to show that?   Otherwise, where do I sent the money from the banking account.   Thank you, Pamela
