Considering to buy a Mac

I am considering the purchase of a Mac and migrating from PC to Mac.  This is due to the need to manage photos better.  I have been a long-time user of Quicken for Windows.  How easy is it to migrate?  How do you do it?  What functionality do I lose if I migrate?
