1/2/23 - OSU Problems & CC-501 Errors (QWIN)

How about that? I just tried it for a third time and it worked! I did not do anything special, just the normal OSU process. Perhaps they are rolling out the fix in batches(?).
Either way, it would be nice to see some sort of updated communication from Quicken.0 -

Likewise. All my Express Web Connect accounts downloaded this morning.

Still not working this morning. If there was viable alternative to Quicken I would be gone in a heartbeat. The bugs and service problems have been too much to bear.1

Online update is failing silently for me with accounts from Bank of America, Chase and Discover. I think this started yesterday as my last successful updates were on January 1. This appears to be an "Express Web Connect" issue - other accounts seem to be working ok.
Note that this is far worse than failing with an error code - at least when that happens you know you have a problem!0 -

@JackS Maybe the fix is rolling out and will work for you in a few hours.

Everything worked this morning! Very happy with that! I know of no other product that does what Quicken does in total. Been using it for 30 years, only the second real problem in all of that time, unless at my age I may be forgetting something.DbqAz0

Since last night Quicken keeps posting a message in my update attempt to wait 10 minutes and try again. Lol (not really) .. it has been 24 hrs not 10 minutes of a dead product.0

I ran OSU early this morning (6 am. ET) and it was woefully slow - 10 minutes or so. Ran again at 9 a.m. ET and it was lightening fast, included Ally Bank and BofA - both EWC+.
If you are on Win7 or Win8 - that could add to your issue.0 -
Only a couple of my banks have updated and then it freezes and I have close and restart program. Can Quicken give an update?0

I have been getting error code cc-501 for several days when trying to download credit card transactions from Chase. Tried deactivating and reactivating but that did not work. Is this a Quicken issue? Or a Chase issue? Or, an issue specific to me?0

I have been experiencing the same problems of the One Step Update freezing after reporting completion of CitiBank credit card but all the others report as processing but not completing. I then have to use Alt-Control-Del to get out of the program. All this started with the last update (R45.21; Build 27.1.45.21) of my Windows 10 64-bit version of Quicken Premier. When will this be resolved?0
-
I'm still getting CC-501 for Wells Fargo, Home Depot and Lowe's. MidFlorida is the only one working this morning.0

All accounts working now (EWC & EWC+ & DC) (1/3 @ 11am ET)0

All systems go as of right now.0

One weird thing for me is that Elan Credit is not showing the correct online balance. $1450.00 in Quicken vs $1450.86 on the credit card website. All transaction match between Quicken and the credit website. Strange. Hopefully it will resolve in a few days.

When I run Quicken One Step Update it ends with a message "the server is not responding correctly. Please try again later"
This is annoying and is happening too frequently.
has anyone else experienced this?
I have tried to report this to Quicken with no response from them. :s0 -
I have not been able to update Schwab, Wells Fargo and various credit card accounts in 2023. Error is CC-501. I know you are aware of the problem, but a more frequent update as to your progress would be helpful......0

All of mine are now working. Both Direct Connect and Web Express. No patch applied. I believe we have seen this issue before and I think Quicken still utilizes Intuit for some of the communications with Banks & Credit Cards.

mine just worked as well, but it took a lot longer than it normally did and I was thinking it was still hanging. It used to take a minute or 2 and you could see the accounts update as they were processed, but this time, it was > 5 minutes and no incremental status update, just one update once everything was done.
I can live with the status not updating.. for now, as long as the process is working.0 -
At least we have moved past the usual problems with connectivity for 2023 (I hope).0

Looks like the issue has returned. Around 0600 PST it appeared be working (OSU with mobile sync). say appeared as the summary screen just showed completed instead of listing each account as it did prior to all this mess. Now, at 1123 PST its finished "processing data" after 40 mins.0

Nothing fixed yet for me. All was sort of working early this morning. This afternoon tried to download transactions for my Schwab account. Quicken freezes and program must be killed to move forward. High cpu usage while this was going on.0

I have been working on this for 3 days. There is absolutely no excuse for this. I ran the One Step Update early this morning and it updated some of my accounts. Just tried again and am getting cc503 errors. Also, it will not accept my passwords. I can logon to these sites, so the password is valid, but Q says it's wrong.0

- Just did an update on a single account-American Express. It worked great. As I said earlier, I have no problem updating Direct Connect Accounts such as Amex and UBS.
- My problem is updating Express Web Connect accounts such as Capital One, Chase etc. Schwab worked early this morning but now locks up trying to update this account this afternoon.
- Nothing fixed for me today.

Finally at 3:30pm CST, all of my accounts updated. Both direct connect and express connect accounts are up to date.0
