Same problem. One step won't complete.3
-
Yes, me too. Been trying to complete for over 30 minutes.2
-
Worked fine yesterday. Today download locks up my Quicken Home & business. I have to use task manager to close the program. Maybe they will have it fixed by tomorrow, I hope.1
-
Same problem here. Update never completes. Tried restoring last backup, same issue. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, same issue.2
-
Just got an error message: "unable to update these accounts because of an error on the Quicken server"1
-
Same issue. Some accounts update immediately and then whammo - frozen. Since mid to late November. It usually finishes within 5 minutes but today, for nearly 2 hours, One Step Update Progress is FROZEN. Also fails to pull in share balances from several accounts. Same time frame.1
-
Same here. None of my accounts updating.0

since 6 am on 1/2/23 quicken one step update just sits there with spinning circles1

I have this problem also. It seems that Express Web Connect connection method doesn't work correctly. Direct Connect connection method works fine. Another issue that is relevant to this problem is that once you start One Step Update, whether it is for all accounts or a single account, it cannot be ended from within Quicken. To stop the process, you must Open Task Manager in Windows and kill the task then reopen Quicken. There really needs to be an escape function to end the update task.4

Same for me. I tried twice this morning to update my accounts and the Quicken update window just spins. I let it run for 30 minutes, which usually takes less than 5 minutes, and it was still spinning with no updates. I killed the task. Restore from a previous backup. Validated the file. Tried it again an hour later and the same behaviors. Quicken update window is spinning with no updates.0

I have the same problem. One Step update has been taking longer and longer recently and today it finally started totally freezing. Today, I have ended the session through Task Manager 3 times.2

Same problem, Quicken Deluxe. No error code at all. Just churning and the status shows "Waiting...". This is for Bank of America and Chase accounts. I opened Task Manager and killed the Quicken task and tried again, but same thing. Waiting. No issue reported yet by Quicken on the Community page under Alerts and Issues. https://community.quicken.com/categories/alerts1

I am having same problem. " Unable to update accounts due to Quicken Server Error" is what I get on ALL of my accounts not just 1 account. Must be yet again another Quicken problem ..2
-
" UNABLE TO UPDATE ACCOUNTS BECAUSE OF AN ERROR ON THE QUICKEN SERVER"0
-
Same problem here. Shows some accounts as completed, but some are hanging and it never completes.1
-
Same problem for me. CC-501 errors on all updates.1
-
For some reason, the update works with my American Express Account but not other credit or banking account updates.1

Quicken has not been able to complete a single connection with any bank account this morning or most of my other accounts. It goes into "Updating Account" and never comes out. Am I alone?0
-
note: Using subscription Quicken on Windows 11 ... even though I can manually go to the financial institution and download, Quicken update just 'clocks'.0
-
I have the same problem. It's completely jammed up.0
-
Same issue here. OSU just spins continuously. Used task manager to close.1
-
you're not alone1
-
Having the same problem with all accounts0
-
Not alone. My same problem which happened today as well.1
-
You are definitely not alone. It freezes whether you are trying to do a complete One Step Update or an individual account. What a way to start the New Year!1
