EFT as credits

My EFT transactions keep defaulting to a credit vs debit. The only thing I can do is put a minus sign in front of the numbers to get it to be a debit. I didn't have this issue before. Is there a setting I need to change?

    How are the EFT transactions getting entered into the register?  Via download or manually?

    I had a similar problem when I manually entered scheduled transactions from Bill and Income Reminders. I had to delete the entry from Bill and Income Reminders and recreate it.
