My Issue is with the brokerage accounts. When I compare the holdings and cost basis of my account month end statement, it does not always match quicken. For example, I reconcile my brokerage account for 12/31/2022 on January 10th , when I get my statement, the quicken holdings may be different. If the brokerage account had any downloaded transactions for sales or buys of stocks the account holdings will not match Quicken will be off from the brokerage, and it is a pain to go through the downloaded transactions to check for accuracy and reconciliation.0

@ScotM What you're describing seems to be a separate issue from the change in downloading multiple accounts being discussed in this thread.
You're saying if there are downloaded accounts, the account holdings don't match between Quicken and the brokerage. So let's drill down on that... First, when you click on the brokerage account in the left sidebar and go to the Portfolio screen, are you entering the As Of date to match the ending date of the brokerage statement? Assuming yes, when you look at a month where things disagree, have you been able to identify what is different in Quicken? Is it the number of shares of securities, or the market value of those securities? Are you missing transactions? Are downloaded transactions recorded incorrectly? Is this one brokerage or multiple different accounts? With some additional information from you, we might be able to offer suggestions.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19930 -
Rule #1 in software development is NEVER depreciate a FEATURE without PRIOR NOTICE. The removal of this important feature, while buggy, was unexpected and very much unappreciated. It needs to get put back ASAP.0

Please bring this feature back! There are many times I don't want to download ALL accounts.
If this was a "confusing wording" issue, please just restore it and decide on a better wording - "Updated All Accounts For The Current FI".
That's probably too long of course, but everyone who uses this feature KNOWS that what this option did and that's fine.
Or, if you want to keep the "Update This Account" wording, you could consider downloading everything for that FI and ignore all the transactions except for the selected account.0 -
I hate this new change! There is only one account I update online. I do NOT want to update all accounts. Give me back control of what is updated!0

@KDinTexas Update All Accounts only updates the accounts that are connected for online updating. If you only have one account connected, then Update All Accounts is only updating that one account; in that case I don't think this feature really does anything for you.

Adding my voice to the choir. Especially with all the 2FA going on now, it can be a real hassle having to update a dozen accounts or more at the same time.0

Please restore 'Update Selected Account'0

Quicken Community, the developers have listened to the outcry over this issue; the command to Update Selected Online Account has been restore in the version 6.12 release.
(As it did before, this command does more than the title suggests: if the account selected is a Direct Connect connection, Quicken Mac updates all accounts at that financial institution, and if the account selected is a Quicken Connect connection, Quicken Mac updates all Quicken Connect accounts from all institutions.)Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19930 -
