my new download of quicken says it's US when I am Canadian

when I tried to download I was told the currency didn't match that I was downloading US funds instead of Canadian
In order for anyone to help you, more information and details will be required. Perhaps start with what version of Quicken are you using? From what Financial Institution did you try to download transaction data? Were you downloading a chequing/savings account or a credit card account? Did you use Web Connect or Express Web Connect/One Step Update? Are you new to Quicken? Is this a new account or did something change recently?0
