Getting an error indicating an issue syncing with cloud storage even though I don't use it.

Just yesterday I got an error indicating a cloud sync error even though I do not store my quicken files in the cloud. Today I notice that when I shut down quicken or switch to another quicken account it delays closing while it is syncing with the cloud. Not sure how this happened as I never set it up for cloud storage and prefer that these files not be stored in the cloud. How can I eliminate the cloud storage?
