Edward Jones account refuses to accept my new password

I changed my Edward Jones password. When I tried to update my password in the password vault, it would not let me because it said a password as "not required". But when I tried to "download positions", it failed (of course) because the password was wrong.

I tried doing a "Reset account" under Online Services, but it would not accept my new password. So I tried to deactivate the account and redo the account setup. But it still will not accept my new password. I get error CC-503, and it tells me that Edward Jones is not accepting my password. But I am 100% sure I am using the same username and password that works perfectly well when I log into my Edward Jones account on the web.

So now I am stuck with no way to re-link my Edward Jones accounts to my Quicken accounts.

    Hello @Randolph Jones,

We are sorry to hear about these issues with credentials and online banking services. Thank you for looking to the Quicken Community for assistance.

First, are you still receiving the message indicating that a password is not required after trying to "reset" your account? Also, if you have the chance, you could save a backup by going to File > Copy or Backup File... in the upper menu at the top of the screen and then create a 'test' data file by going to the same menu and selecting New Quicken File... Next, choose New Quicken File in the screen that follows, and then click OK. After this, choose a file location on your computer and then click Save. Choose Don't use mobile and web when prompted.

You may then add your Edward Jones-associated accounts by navigating to the Add Account button in the Tools menu option in upper left-hand side of the screen, or in the more central, upper left-hand panel, denoted by the '+' symbol. Let us know if you see the same error occurring in the test data file once this is attempted.

I look forward to hearing about your results.

    Thank you,

    Quicken Jared
