citi bank cc-502 error

I update details from Citi Bank on a weekly basis to Quicken and have been for at least a month. Suddenly today I get a CC-502 error. Any suggestions?

    CC-502 often means that the account could not be updated because the financial institution is doing system maintenance which is preventing Quicken from accessing it.
    The recommendation is to try again later.  Sometimes doing Update Now immediately afterward will resolve the issue (especially if it is during a business day) but, depending on the scope of the maintenance, a successful update might not be possible until the next business day.
    If the issue continues beyond the next business day, you might want to contact Quicken Support to report the issue.

    Hello @EdM9

    Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community with this issue.

    We do currently have an active alert regarding CitiBank users receiving a CC-502 error when attempting to update their accounts. You may follow this link to access that alert where you may bookmark it in order to remain up to date on any new information, ETAs, or resolutions that may occur.

    I apologize for any inconvenience caused.

  • Like EdM9 I have been using Quicken for 25+ years and update my Citi account at least twice a week. It suddenly stopped working about a week ago. After reading these notes I have gone back to my Citi account Settings and initiated their process to authorize 3rd party software access. Quicken still fails. And I have tried this on different days at different times of the day.

    Looking back through the Community history this has been a "known problem" with an "active alert" for over a year. And a team has been working with Citi to resolve. I wish you would get this working as well as your ability to process our annual Subscriptions. You seem to have no problem accessing that same Citi Card Account for renewal. Why don't you put your Crack Subscription Charge Team on this problem? I bet if subscription charges start experiencing CC-502 issues, it would become Problem Incident #1!

    I have spent $1,000's on Quicken over the years. This is no way to treat your faithful customers.

    I am having the same issue since May. I keep hoping it will be fixed. I hate having to enter each transaction manually. It's horrible.

    @Michael Hebert & @pdayrda :

    What type(s) of accounts are you trying to download?

    Also, which connection link are you set up with…Direct Connect? Express Web Connect?

    Are you experiencing this connection issue with any other financial institutions?
