I'm having a similar issue. In the Quicken setup, I provide my Meriwest userid and password, provide the code Meriwest sends to my phone, which indicates that Meriwest has responded to my logon request through Quicken, then I get an error message from Quicken saying it's not my fault, but Quicken was having trouble connecting to Meriwest. I don't think Quicken and Meriwest have the protocol figured out yet. This is for Express Web Connect.

If I go back to the old Web Connect method, and export from Meriwest, that still works.

@Tim I had the same error from Meriwest yesterday. Things are working for me today. Note that I had to re-login to mymeriwest.com to re-activate my account.

Then, I removed all the online access for each Meriwest account in Quicken. Once done, I re-added each account and linked them to my accounts in Quicken.

This wasn't without error today, though. When the transactions and amounts were downloaded, most of my Opening Balance amounts in my accounts were incorrect. I had to adjust them to the correct opening balances, and then everything is back to normal.
