When I click on a link in the Morningstar User Guide it's supposed to link to a .pdf file, but instead it links to the main page at Morningstar.
Any suggestions?

I get the document displayed in a window. Note the humorously misspelled title. It's not a PDF until you download it. Here you go.Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, now using QWin Premier Subscription (US) on Win10 Pro.0

The links in the user guide didn't work while viewing in Quicken, I downloaded the user guide and the links still didn't work.0

The links work for me. Perhaps you have disabled links in PDF files. There's an option for that in Adobe Reader.Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, now using QWin Premier Subscription (US) on Win10 Pro.0

I downloaded the user guide and I use the free version of acrobat reader and haven't disabled links. When I click on link that ends in .pdf, I goto this link, "https://www.morningstar.com/company/about-us?cid=RED_EOL0001"
Also, when I click on the user guide inside of Quicken, I get a message that says there's an error and it shut down Quicken. A dialog box pops up and the error says, "Quicken unexpectedly quit the last time it was run." Also, asks for email address and to describe what was happening before the crash.0 -
Here is a wild shot at it: From Windows File Explorer with Quicken closed, delete this folder:
C:\ProgramData\Quicken\Cache (Note ProgramData is a hidden folder, so you have to show hidden items in the Windows File Explorer to see it)

That didn't do it and again it shut down Quicken.1

Called Quicken tech support and apparently it's a known issue for 20 days now, supposedly they'll send out an email to customers when it's resolved.0

I think it is more that @q_lurker doesn't have to deal with Quicken support that much and as such doesn't realize that they do say things like they will send out email. But I will also state that many times people have complained that the email never gets sent. I know a long time ago that happened to me. So, hopefully they will get back to you in that email.
What Quicken Inc doesn't do is "support through email". It was dropped because it isn't effective when you have to talk back and forth to get at what is the problem. But after they have found the problem, they aren't against using it as a follow up message system.Signature:

@Chris_QPW has the right read on my interaction level with phone support. At some point, I also made selections to minimize email (marketing) communications from Quicken. I don't see a current control on that. Anyway, I do believe @ocman 's broader scope "they'll send out an email to customers" is well beyond any expectations I would have. Perhaps if he's lucky, an email to him. But don't hold your breath and keep asking and trying different releases.0

What I've gathered from this message board is that Quicken has had problems getting the Morningstar (plug-in?) to work correctly other than just the User Guide. Hopefully this will get solved in the near future. I would be surprised if I get an email.0
