    Same as me.

I've tried from time to time to get my third AMEX account to work (personal accounts work, business account does not). Now when I try to open the Account register, Quicken locks up and I get no response. As others have said, this is really getting old. Can't balance my AMEX account. Any ideas on fixes or am I just out of luck until some magic happens?

I cannot even get as far as most of you. When I sign in to the authorization screen, my Amex account is not listed, so I can't select anything to authorize. I have popup blocker off. What next or what am I missing?

@Jimwolak -Same thing happens to me - no account to select - Quicken get your act together - How can you send an email threatening to turn the old connection method off when the new one is broken

Quicken has a similar issue with Chase bank. I have used Quicken since 1990 and am really getting tired of all of the issues over the past few years. I am ready to look for an alternative and stop renewing my subscription if the product doesn't soon improve. I am open to suggestions for other products that people have real experience using.

Hopefully someone from Quicken is reading this and will reply with when they feel they will get their product working,

I finally got my AmEx account to work. Previously I'd sign in to the authorization screen, my AmEx account is not listed, so I can't select anything to authorize.

I have one AmEx account, a Corporate account. First I deactivated the online services [Quicken doesn't recommend this]. Then deleted the account number & finanical institute in the account details. Then closed the program.
Opened back up... and on top of the Account Bar, click the + [plus sign] button. This time instead of clicking on the American Express icon I typed American Express and selected "American Express - Delegate".

From there it had me put in my credentials and allowed my to link the existing account already in Quicken. One-Step Update now functions as designed for my AmEx account.

    YMMV....

CyberguyJeff - I did your plan - but that is the old connection - it helps restore the old express web connect - disappointing Quicken

I understand but the system changed the financial institute to American Express - Delegate [look in account details] which hopefully sets me up for the migration.

I'm having this exact issue— I could prevously download transactions from my wife's AMEX login and my AMEX login sucessfully. Now, when I set up downloads for one account, the other shows an error. Is there some workaround for this bug?

Same problem - one personal Amex card and another corporate Amex card. Only one can download at a time. I have deactivated and reactivated both, but Quicken can only downloade whichever account was reactivated last. Quicekn has seemed user-unfriendly for a long time, so I will start looking elsewhere.
