Closed accounts - still getting prompted for access

I keep on getting messages to reauthorize an Amex and a Chase account that are closed in the Quicken program. I no longer have the cards so I cannot log into my account at the CC company. How can I stop the prompt to reauthorize?

Quicken is asking me to authorized Closed accounts. I cannot log into them and authorize them because they don't exist. It did it with Citi accounts and now with Amex accounts. How do I stop that? I have validated and fixed the database. One account I fully deleted it and it stopped, but now it's grabbing all my closed Amex accounts.

In Quicken are these accounts still active and possibly connected to the credit card company for downloading?
If so, you should (after creating a backup of your data file) deactivate these accounts and mark them as closed in Quicken.
It might also be a good idea to Edit Account Details for each of these accounts and blank out the fields Financial Institution, Account Number, Routing Number and CustomerID.

I was able to reauthorize my AMEX accounts with no problem however I am continuing to get a message every time I downlaod transactions to reauthorize a closed AMEX credit card even though the card is closed, it is no longer on the AMEX website and it is closed in Quicken.  Pretty annoying.  Wish they would fix that.  Quicken should not ask to reauthorize a closed AMEX acct.

Both of my credit cards that are being asked to reauthorize are Deactivated and CLOSED in Quicken. Definitely a Quicken problem. How can I get the attention of Quicken customer support?
