Security Reporting

I would like to be able to run reports filtered on a security or selection of securities. The transaction area list the Security with Payee but the securities do not show up in the Payee pulldown of the report editing section. It would be helpful to have the report option to filter on Securities. This is available in the Windows version. I noticed that this has been requested in the past but cannot find a solution.

@bfs It's not quite what you're asking for, but see if this gets you close enough to do what you want...
- Click on an account, account sub-group (like Retirement), or main group (Investing)
- Click on the Transactions tab
- Use the Search box to search for the security you want
- Narrow the date range if appropriate
- You can print the register of found transactions, or export it to a CSV file
That said, I agree that being able to generate a report on a security or multiple securities would be good — as part of a comprehensive package of investment reports which do not yet exist.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19930 -
Thinks for the suggestion. This does work for a single security. But this would be very time consuming for multiple securities grouped together. I am hoping Quicken comes up with investment reports as you referenced. This function is available in the Windows version so should be available for the Mac. Maybe someone knows when this will be available.0

We don't get any information about what features are coming and when until they appear. (Okay, beta testers may get a peek at new features a couple weeks before everyone else, but they are prohibited from talking about what they may be testing. Any anything beyond that, no users have any insight into when a feature will appear.)
