USAA Reauthorize multiple times

Each time I attempt to initiate a one step update, Quicken asks me to reauthorize my USAA accounts. The reauthorization process seems to complete successfully without error but then it asks me to do it again if I again select one step update. So far, I have been through this process about 7 times over the course of the past two days. How do I get Quicken to stop asking me to reauthorize my USAA accounts?

Thanks for trying your best. I have looked at the FAQ (quite lengthy and comprehensive and therefore my 1st stop when I have issues), and have searched for the words "reauthorize" and "authorize" and cannot find them listed. Which section of the FAQ were you specifically referring to or were you just pointing out that the FAQ often has answers to frequently asked questions? If so, thanks again.Yes, my Quicken file goes back to 1991.0

I wasn't pointing you to any FAQ, you need to contact Quicken Support (phone or chat) for help on this "authorize" issue. Make sure that you browser does not block pop-ups while making the contact.-splasher using Q continuously since 1996 - Subscription Quicken - Win11

Hi. Same issue here. Quite annoying! Hopefully a solution is found soon.0

Same problem here on Quicken for Mac. One of my USAA accounts (checking) connects just fine after reauthorizing it; another (Savings) never connected and I finally gave up and turned off transaction download. And the third (credit card) won't connect no matter what I do.0

Update on mine. I noticed that my actual bank accounts (checking, savings, credit card) are updating correctly - they were switched over to Express WebConnect+ a few months ago.
What's prompting the "Reauthorize" is the account I use to track my insurance bill "account." I tried editing the account to remove the online services, as it really isn't necessary in this case, but Quicken does not offer the option for this account. All my other online accounts can have their online services deactivated, just not this one. The account type in Quicken is Liability.1 -
Same issue here. Downloaded Credit Card transactions but no checking or savings accounts. USAA tech support had me deactivate all bank accounts. Unfortunately, Quicken crashed each account. Closed Quicken through Task Manager and restarted. Account was deactivated each account, but crashed in the process. Possibly fixed by using Tools/Accounts adding a USAA account and re-authorizing all accounts (linking to current accounts). Should not be this hard Quicken and USAA, you're not inspiring much confidence in data security if you can't make a digital handshake work. I've been downloading transactions since 1993?. C'mon man. Get it right.1

This is my issue. There is an insurance account for which I cannot remove online services.
I hope a fix is implemented soon.Yes, my Quicken file goes back to 1991.0 -
Hey @batl
If you don't get an answer from Quicken, my solution was simply to create a new liability account for insurance, transfer the current balance from the "broken" account to the new one, and CLOSE the "broken" account. No more prompts to reauthorize! Is it a bummer that it's not one contiguous transaction register? Yes. But oh well.0 -
Same issues for me. Checking, Savings and Credit Card are all requiring Reauthorization each and every time that I perform the One Step Update. Very frustrating.0

This worked for me. Not optimal, but preferable to getting the reauthorization prompt for each update.
