Incorrect Balance in Bank Account

    I synched to my bank yesterday morning, like I do every business day, and all of a sudden it's showing we are -18K! Cannot find a recent backup (Yes, I know, I feel bad enough, PLEASE do not get on me about that). Anyway, I have tried to fix but it's a disaster. I want to start over from scratch. HOW?

    We are sorry about this issue with incorrect balances. Thank you for letting us know about this here on the Quicken Community.

    Don't feel bad about the situation with respect to backups. Let me ask this: are you noticing that the amount in the Opening Balance of the account seems to have changed? Also, what financial institution is associated with the account? Is it operated manually (i.e. without being connected to online banking services)?

    FWIW, is there a BACKUP folder in the folder that has your active Quicken data file? If so, check for a recent automatic backup.
