USAA Reauthorize Failure - new method for connection

Quicken is now asking me to reauthorize my connection to USAA due to some changes. I am using Windows 11 (64 bit) and latest version of Microsoft Edge (Version 110.0.1587.57 (Official build) (64-bit)))

When trying to reauthorized my connection, a new tab pops up in Edge, but I encounter the following error message:

{
"error": "invalid_request",
"error_description": "Validation error"
}

I have temporarily disabled the Edge popup blocker and Norton with no luck.

    As the title states, this is for USAA. I submitted the Help>Report a problem to see if its resolved. As USAA is my primary bank, Quicken won't be usable if unable to synch with USAA via its new process.

    I am trying to reauthorize to update to the USAA EWC connection. I click Reauthorize and login on the next screen. This takes me to the Chrome screen that should allow me to reauthorize, but I receive this message
    "error": "invalid_request",
    "error_description": "Validation error" .
    I have tried multiple times with the same result. Has anyone else had this happen? Is there a way around this?

    I would encourage everyone to leave USAA banking… and let them know why. I've been having issues with them screwing around with the Pay Bills function in their web browser to improper account updates into quicken and now this recurring “reauthorizing” process. None of the other financial institutions I use suffer this kind of incompetence.

    My savings and credit cards are now with Capital One… USAA has become so poor in thier customer service I had to come to Quicken to find out what USAA has screwed up now. I've been with USAA for ~40 years… I'm leaving.

    I've had zero problems with the banking aspects of USAA, although mortgage and insurance is a different story.

    I'm more likely to stop using Quicken if they are unable to solve this problem unless they demonstrate the problem is truly due to USAA.

    I have reauthorized my USAA account four (4) times and Quicken is still asking me to do it again. I click to remind me later and it proceeds without reauthorization.

    I am getting the same thing: "The following financial institutions are transitioning to a difference connection method. To continue downloading information, please update the connection for the following: USAA Federal Savings Bank - p34vly8 - Reauthorize."

    Nothing happens.

    I appears there are various error messages experienced but bottom line, connection issues between USAA and Quicken. USAA says they can only deal with their side, they have adjusted to Quicken but Quicken changed their connection software as of Mar 1, 2023. Cant reach anyone at Quicken. TI have not been able to update for nearly 1 year. Hoping they can both talk and get their [soft]ware together

    I just saw this thread when trying to figure out why my USAA connection won't work. I don't even get the button to "Reauthorize". I deleted the online connection on one of my USAA accounts and tried to start over to setup again, but keep getting a message that says "Sorry. We encountered an error. (It's not your fault.)" Every time I've gone through the steps to re-establish my connection to USAA, I get an email from USAA that says "Quicken Now Connected to USAA Account". This seems to align with what others are saying above that it's on Quicken's side. Come on, Quicken - please get this fixed ASAP!

    I've had all of the same issues with USAA and One Step Update. Strangely enough though, updates with USAA work fine as long as I just do an Update Now from the my USAA account pages.
