Five Days working through One Step Update; now this...

It is not happening in any other USAA account nor any other of the financial institutions I have reconnected with via One Step Update.
I deactivated USAA OSU from all of the accounts and tried again; with a new backup copy of the file before the corruption. Same thing happened; only checking is debiting deposits and crediting payments? Anyone else with this problem or any solutions out there??

Hello @ALFAGold ,
We are sorry about this issue with the valence of transactions being reversed. Thank you for inquiring about this here on the Quicken Community.
To be clear, the transactions are being listed as having negative amounts now, correct? What type of accounts are these (credit, investment, corporate cards, etc)? Also, how many accounts are you operating with USAA?
I look forward to your answers.
Thank you,
Quicken Jared

@ALFAGold you said “Now my Quicken Account for USAA bank is showing -$213,022.95 as the Opening Balance”.
Quicken changing the amount of the opening balance transaction is a commonly reported issue here. Change the amount of the opening balance transaction to the correct amount. Then note the correct amount in the memo so it will be easier to fix if the problem happens again.

To answer your questions: first, the " individual transactions" are not listed as "negative" meaning they show up as "red" debits; they remain black but as the dollars are subtracted from the previous total the balance changes to "red" when my deposits are subtracted. Second, the account with the problem is my primary checking account with USAA. Third, I have 4 accounts with USAA, one checking, one savings, and two credit card.
The only thing I can attribute to the issue is the checking account is the only one that has been archived with the "year end" feature. I have only used this year end archive feature a couple of times. No other account in my entire Quicken file has ever been "archived" using the "Year End" feature!
Thanks for the inquiry.
