Schwab error CC-501 (resolved)

Quicken unable to connect to Schwab this morning in all accounts. Steps suggested by QUicken to resolve a 501 error do not work. No Schwab account login information has changed, so login credentials are correct, Does anyone have information on this issue?

    I am unable to update 4 different Schwab accounts this morning. No changes have been made in the signin data.(cc-501 error)

    All I can add here is “me too.” I'll give it a day to see if it gets straightened out before dealing with Quicken support.

    Same problem here too. Tried to update 3x this morning and all other accounts (at other places) updating fine. Frustrating, but probably just another wait and it will (hopefully) fix itself. Unfortunately, Quicken often seem to never figure root causes, they just wait with the rest of us.

    I am sorry to hear that you are being affected by these issues with online banking services. Thank you for reaching out about this here on the Quicken Community. 

    I recommend submitting program log files by navigating to Help > Report a problem in the upper menu at the top of the screen. You may then include a brief description of the issue as well as any available screenshots you may have along with the data logs. Although we will investigate this issue further, we do not have an ETA on a resolution, and you will not receive a response through these submissions, as these are used purely for investigative purposes.

    Schwab transaction downloads are generating a CC-501 error. I tried deactivating and reactivating the account. This message came up: {"error":"invalid_request","error_description":"Unauthorized caller"}

    Might be beneficial to contact Schwab Tech Support. They may have a log-in issue. Their tech support folks helped me a few times.

    Windows 11 (2 separate computers)..... Quicken Premier.. HAVE USED QUICKEN CONTINUOUSLY SINCE 1985.

    I just talked to Schwab Tech support. They are now aware of the problem. Hopefully it will be figured out soon.,

    Problem is back! Getting a partial transaction download then the error message CC-501 comes back.

    By the way, Schwab website was wonky earlier today. I was on their website and some of the bond trading features just were unavailable and the wait on phone support was over 20 minutes. Wondering if this on Schwab's end????
