I can see that I have a data file from December 2022. I cannot access the tax data and add to it

Why can't I access data that I put in in December 2022. I am using Quicken to create a file for submitting my 2022 tax return. I have done this for years using quicken that was installed on my laptop. That laptop is having problems so I opened a subscription to current quicken and started adding expense data in December. I want to open the file which I think is on my laptop and add more expense info.

Which version of Quicken are you running? (Help > About Quicken).

If it is anything lower than R46.XX then likely that is the problem. R46.XX added the new 2023 tax rates and restored the 2022 tax year that “disappear” after the end of 2022.

If you need to update your Quicken, I would suggest that you updated to R47.15 since there were other problems with R46.XX. You can download and install the R47.15 Mondo Patch from https://www.quicken.com/support/update-and-patch-20182019-release-quicken-windows-subscription-product .

what version was on the laptop?
If current, you should have just gone to the Quicken website and downloaded the current version to your other computer.
