Same problem here. Worked fine until the last few days.0

Same here, both regular PayPal and PayPal credit stopped connecting. Something has broken with online updates and not just PayPal. Since March 7th, besides PayPal I've had issues with Fidelity, and QVC/Synchrony.0

same here. paypal credit stopped connecting since 3/140

Same issue. I received a couple CC-506s and then decided to try to reset the account. Now it simply fails and says, "Sorry. We encountered an error. (It's not your fault)"1

I did the same and that’s exactly what happened to me.1

No longer able to add PayPal Credit to Quicken Update downloads. Seems to be a problem with Quicken.

This seems like the standard "reboot your computer" or "tighten the cable on your modem" advice. Something to waste our time while you try to figure out what is wrong. The last update is what seems to have broken online downloads. There are multiple tickets, both windows and mac, for multiple download issues since the beginning of March. If Quicken can't negotiate new deals with the financial institutions, just tell us. Don't waste our time.0

You're so right stevedm1. You can't even follow those directions because the whole connection with Paypal is broken. If you try to add a new account and choose Paypal you get a connection error. Quicken needs to start working on the problem instead of telling me the equivalent of 'reboot your modem'. And yes, I know it's not my fault.0

Im having the same problem, contacted Quicken support & they are blaming Paypal. Of course Paypal blaming Paypal.0

I'm having the same issue. Inadverently posted this on the Mac thread. Screen shot of the error I get when I try to re-connect the online service.

When I logged into Paypal and accessed Paypal credit, I noted this message, which showed up approximate at the same time the problem started for me. I don't know if it's related, but the coincidence is notable.

Typical BS from Quicken, as said in earlier thread, can't they at the very least acknowledge there is an issue and they are working on it. The best is when the reset fails, it sets the account to have online deactivated. As you can guess my paypal accounts (4 in total) all stopped working a few days ago. 😕

Those of you having this problem should try to reconnect now. I was successful at re-linking to PayPal Credit within the last few minutes.0

I have had this too - I tried deleting my PayPal/Synchrony credit card account, and then readding it. I was able to readd it, but when I downloaded the transaction history, it did so successfully, BUT - stopped at around 8-10 days ago, none of the transactions since around 3/10 downloaded… so I deleted again and will wait for a resolution.

I successfully reconnected my PayPal Credit Card yesterday. Transactions are downloading again.0

Today they released a new Quicken update for Windows but it didn't fix PayPal. I was able to deactive and reactivate PayPal credit a few days ago, but my regular PayPal (Quicken calls it checking) isn't even found anymore.0
-
I've been able to reconnect and stay linked to the PayPal credit account, but the process goes through all the motions and doesn't download any of the transactions I know are there. I had to go to PayPal Credit and manually download a Quicken File to get the transactions updated.0

It looks like they've separated PayPal Credit from the old traditional PayPal account - the one that Quicken classifies as checking for some crazy reason. I've been luckier than Igor74, my credit account has been working for a week but not the other account. Today I deactivated it, then chose add an account and picked PayPal. It made me log in to PayPal. Then I was able to link the account to my existing one in Quicken.0
