Vanguard 401K download requires disconnect and reconnect every time. why?
i download many accounts into Quicken, however my Vanguard 401K connection has to be disconnected (reset does nothing) and then completely reestablished each and every time for the download to work. Does anyone else experience this? History suggests that this on the Vanguard side and not the Quicken one.

Appreciate the reach out. i am not exaggerating when I say the issue with the Vanguard 401K download has been going on for several years. Over this period the funds I've held in this single account have changed over time. Quicken views what I have at Vanguard as a single account. I've been downloading from multiple institutions for years without issue, including 3 banks, 2 credit card companies, mortgage account, auto loan, etc. The Vanguard account says it updates upon sync but new transactions will not download unless I reset the account. I just, once again, deleted it and started over but am confident next payoll's transactions will not download without intervention.0
Update to 9:36 AM post... starting over and create a new Vanguard account/download resulted in an overstatement in Quicken over the number of shares in the account. I had to delete it and reconnect to the older account. Next deposit is 3/31 and confident it will not download without intervention.0
