Quicken won't update automatically

When I open quicken it says looking for updates and that never leaves the screen. I am able to open quicken and use it. Don't know why it won't update.

Before I can further assist you, I require some more information. Do you have scheduled updates set up? Are you able to still manually update your accounts using One Step Update or individual account updates? Do you receive any error codes or messages? How long has this issue been occurring? Are you saying that you are unable to remove the pop-up regarding automatic updates?
