Credits on Credit Card Accounts

When reconciling a credit card account, it would be nice if there was a line in quicken to enter the credits alone. Currently you have to add the credits to previous payments outside of the reconcile screen to enter the correct amount. Every credit card I have provides the credits as a separate line from the previous payments.

When reconciling an account, entering the total amount of Credits and Payments is not necessary. Just enter the Statement Date, zeros (0) for charges and payments, and the Ending Balance.

Everything will work just fine doing it this way and you don't have to worry about doing the calculations that you wrote about and it is a whole lot easier.
