Bonds: Sorted Display by Maturity and Reporting (QMAC)
The Bond 'edit' view allows for the entry of a Maturity Date amongst other things. It would be great to have Bonds displayed in the Portfolio views either automatically sorted by Maturity Date or to have a column added so that you could do that manually. Though, auto sorted is a huge improvement and much easier I would imagine.
If no maturity date has been entered, then just put the bond in the same seemingly random order below those that have maturity dates entered?
Also, the ability to print a Bond Report sorted by Maturity Date as described above.
Another method could be to allow CSV download of all securities but add the Maturity date so folks could do all this in a spreadsheet. However, I imagine this would require adding "Maturity Date" to the portfolio display column which is harder, … but would also would allow for the sorted by Maturity Date display described above.
