iPad app for Quicken Classic

Is there a reason the iPad app can't function just like the Desktop version of Quicken Cassic?

Yes, it is a completely different operating system. Quicken Classic would have to be totally rewritten to run on iOS, and that is just never going to happen.

So, that leaves "partial companion app" (Quicken Mobile), and Quicken Simplifi, which is a start over, but with a bit of a different focus, and long ways to go to have anything near the functionality of Quicken Classic.

Perhaps a new "marketing product" as a additional cost to consumers 😎

Also, I would say that this is hardly the first such request. There have been lots of them over time. I searched for the older ones so that you could at least vote on one that has been suggested/voted on before, but everyone that I found had long ago been closed and archived.

Maybe one of the moderators can point you to an active one to vote on, so that you don't have to completely start over on this request. I still don't think it will ever happen, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't vote on the one with the most votes.

Just my opinion but if Quicken doesn't develop a version that works with IOS they'll lose customers. There is a movement with average computer users to move away from laptops and desktop computers and just use tablets and phones. Quicken needs to keep up with the times or they'll become a Dinosuar.
