CLOSED 7/19/24 Share amount doesn't allow 8 decimal places
There's a feature in Quicken for Windows called "Extended Share Precision (8 digits vs rounding to 6)" under Edit > Preferences > Investment, which if ON should allow a user to enter the number of shares with up to 8 decimal places rather than 6. However, this currently fails to allow up to 8 decimal places and is instead rounding to the nearest 6th decimal.
This has been escalated internally, though we do not have an ETA at this time.
