ten years of data and quicken backup
I have hit the limit on my quicken backup program with about ten years worth of quicken data (I"m currently running quicken premier 2010). I really don't want to go to the more expensive levels of quicken backup because I have other layers of data protection in Mozy and True Image Home. On the other hand, I've found that quicken backup works pretty well with quicken because, well, it's quicken backup. I recall reading somewhere that I should avoid archiving old quicken data because it isn't available for reports and the like. On the other hand, I'm wondering if there is a way to compress it or otherwise store it so that it will all fit into the ten dollar a year quicken backup program. I don't use the older data often, but once in a while, it's useful. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Make sure there isn't some old files that can be deleted in your online acct. If your file is much larger than 35 MB, try copying it using Quicken menu > File > "Save copy as" feature. Many here say it reduces the file size. I personally haven't tried it.
