Data won't import into Quicken
After creating the transaction reports and saving to the desktop, I opened the Data Converter and clicked on "Import into Quicken" and received the following error: "Quicken data file template cannot be copied to its temporary location. Please make sure TEMPLATE.* are not read-only and that you have enough free disk space on the installation drive, then try again." I have enough space; none of the files on the desktop are "read-only". What can I do?

Are you using Vista? Try right-clicking the converter and running it as an administrator, and this should work--

I am using Vista. I right clicked and ran as an administrator. The converter started working when I clicked "Import into Quicken" and then I got another error - "The data converter does not recognize the report as a Microsoft Money Account Transactions report. This could be because the report was renamed or because it is not the correct report." I didn't rename it. I deleted the copies and ran the steps again. Same error. What now?
The most common reason for this issue is that Quicken is open when you're trying to import the Microsoft Money reports. Close Quicken and in the Data Converter, click Import into Quicken again. Then continue with step 4 of the conversion procedure here: https://quicken.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/quicken.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=5521
If this doesn't fix the issue, you may need to contact Quicken support for conversion help--you can find contact channels in this FAQ: https://quicken.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/quicken.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2660 -- there is no charge for data conversion issues.
