Since I installed the Quicken 2009 R6 update on Q Premier 2009, running Vista Home, when I try to use the update the program crashes. Has any one experienced this? Any suggested solutions?

Having to qclean uninstall, delete folders, reboot and reinstall every time I want to use QW2009 is getting to be a real pain. Apparently, there is an issue with the update that shows up after the fresh install.

I have tried Qclean and reinstall and the same crash occurs.  It did it the first time updating with QW 2007.  Help

I am running Quicken Premier 2009 on 64 bit Vista Home Premium. When I run Update Transactions for any account, once I have entered my vault password and connect to the financial institution, Quicken hangs and I have to kill it. I have found a workaround.  The first time you update an account, after you have entered the vault password you are shown a screen that says "One Step Update Settings". Rather than clicking on Update Now, click on Cancel.

Thereafter, for the rest of that Quicken session, your account updates will work properly. Hope this helps.
