I have installed and am running Quicken 2015 for Mac on my iMac running 10.9.4, but I cannot download the upgrade to 2.0.3. I continually receive a download error message stating "the update is improperly signed" I remain unsuccessful in all attempts to resolve this issue.
Hmmm-that used to be an error that affected 1.7.1 users of Quicken Essentials. It wasn't so much the program itself, but permission problems for it.
Try this: Quit Quicken. Locate the application in your Applications folder. Control (right) click on the application and choose Copy. Click on the desktop and choose Paste (You must use these menu commands-it will force the copy to inherit your user permissions of that account). Open the copy on the desktop and try to update.
If it works, you can safely trash the old copy and move the one from the desktop to its place.
OK, I lifted this from the "Release Notes" box in today's 2.0.4 updater ;^)
Version 2.0.3
Added the ability to see scheduled and future transactions when using the Last 12 Months filter (or similar filters) in the transaction list.
Added a converter check for imported Quicken Windows files to make sure the latest converter is used which will provide the highest quality conversion.
Fixed an issue that prevented import of a small number of Quicken Essentials files.
Fixed an issue that prevented import of a small number of Quicken 2007 files.
