Is there an issue with quicken from 10/20/2014 to 10/21/2014?
I work in a call desk center for a bank and I have had over 30 calls in regards to Quicken NOT working. Statements not downloading, accounts being added twice for no reason. I have tried everything I can to get this to work for them. And to no avail. I've tried calling every number that is available to me and it sends me to the website. I need assistance now in order to assistance my customers!

And ask the callers if they're using Q for Mac 2007, or earlier.
Intuit has shut down the ability of QM2007, and earlier, to connect because those versions use SSL 3.0. The newer versions of Q don't use that protocol.

Background info that another user (macuser_22) supplied:
"It is probably due to the POODLE vulnerability that was discovered and published 5 days ago by Google (https://www.us-cert.gov/ncas/alerts/TA14-290A)
US-CERT (Department of Homeland Security) says: "There is currently no fix for the vulnerability SSL 3.0 itself, as the issue is fundamental to the protocol; however, disabling SSL 3.0 support in system/application configurations is the most viable solution currently available."
Thus the recommendation is to turn SSL 3.0 off in servers, which is what banks (and apparently Intuit) have done.
Since QM2007 can only use SSL 3.0 (the code was written before TSL existed), QM2007 cannot connect to any server that has SSL 3.0 disabled."

Financial Institutions have different contact sources, depending on their contract with Intuit:
If the FI you work for (or, more appropriately, their service provider) has a DARTS contract with Intuit, then there is a direct number provided to the FI or SP to get Support assistance with Quicken, QuickBooks, and/or Mint. This number should be provided to you by your supervisor or the SP.
If the FI/SP does not have a DARTS contract, the method of contacting Quicken Support is the same as for our mutual customers. You would go to Contact Quicken Support and submit a Chat request.
If you're unsure if your FI or SP has a DARTS contract with Intuit, see your supervisor OR ask the SP what path they expect you to use.
