Where to get support for Quicken?

There are only 4 types of support available for Quicken: live chat support from Intuit, static self-help webpages, community help from other users, feedback to Intuit (used to improve Quicken).
Note that Intuit has currently discontinued live phone support a few months ago.
- for live chat support from Intuit Tech Support, go here:
for Windows & Mac: http://www.quicken.com/contact-us
- for self-help static pages (home page: http://knowledgebase.quicken.com/support/ ):
for Windows (for versions of Quicken before 2015): http://knowledgebase.quicken.com/support/windows.jsp
for Mac (for versions of Quicken before 2015): http://knowledgebase.quicken.com/support/mac.jsp
(includes 2015 version; just click on 2014--takes you to 2015)
- for community help from other Quicken users, this forum (Quicken Live Community) is the most current place: https://qlc.intuit.com
This is for both Windows and Mac current versions. You will have to filter out the posts based on tags. However, the only way to tell the posts apart is if the poster applies tags.
Though not official, note that some Intuit staff do occasionally respond to some of the posts here.
- though many users still hang out there, the previous community support forum is located here (note that Intuit Staff no longer monitor these, so they are not recommended):
for windows: https://getsatisfaction.com/quicken
for mac: https://getsatisfaction.com/quicken_mac
- For submitting error/bug reports, feedback on feature improvements or additions to Intuit staff for Quicken
for windows: it appears the only place is this forum (unless someone else knows a better place).
for Mac: see my post here: http://getsatisfaction.com/quickencommunity/topics/where-how-to-send-error-bug-reports-or-feedback-on-feature-improvements-or-additions-to-intuit-for-quicken-for-mac
