(So after I print each check, I must re-set the Number, each-time!)

Again I ask this community about making Quicken more-efficient. I tell about Printing checks.
My bank sent to me Carbon Copies of each check. (I use the copy to make-sure that the check prints how I want. Wisely I believe, I shred each Copy _after_ I print it.)
So after I print each check, I must re-set the Number, each-time!
Computers _should_ be more-efficient. My (humble) suggestion is to Tell Quicken at the outset that I use _2_ copies of each check. Thank you, again.

Your question made me once again review the video about Printing Checks in Quicken. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8tZAqDb0o4
About 1:50 minutes into the video, the process of actually printing checks is explained and examples of the Print Check dialog are shown.
This dialog comes in two flavors: "Show Details" (so you can select Check Style and other options) and "Hide Details" (a short dialog).
In the short dialog there is a Copies option.
In the detailed dialog this option does not show ...
It appears to me that the answer to your question about printing two copies of each of your checks is to use the short dialog.
OTOH, if you're printing one set of checks as a test copy and then print real checks later, consider using the Print Confirmation dialog that shows up after printing the test batch of selected checks. Mark all checks for "Reprint" and the check numbers should automatically be reset correctly. Now you can print the real checks.
(Sometimes I get the worst ideas while taking a shower ... ;-)
How about this one?
Since you want to print the same batch of checks more than once ... and until your wish comes true about making changes to Quicken to allow multiple print runs of the same batch of checks (re-)using the same check numbers ...
Print the batch of checks to a PDF file.
Now you can print this PDF file two or more times, as often as needed, on blank paper, carbon copy or real check stock without having to fiddle with the reprint function in Quicken and/or having to reset check numbers.
Exclusively, I print 1 check at-a time. But please do not misunderstand: I _appreciate_ your feedback. Thank you. :-)
P. S. Why do you mention that you take a shower, please? Are you trying to Get a Rise from me, or what?
P. P. S. Further, your name of ukr immediately brings to mind Ukraine. (A woman who cleans-up here is from Ukraine. She has lived here, with her husband, since the mid-90s.)
