I just upgraded from Quicken 2013 to Quicken 2016 (it was a forced upgrade since downloads were dis-continued in Quicken 2013 on Apr 30).  In 3 years, instead of moving forward, Intuit has moved back.  No major additional functionality and some things no longer work.  Takes over a minute to startup and also to start downloads.  But the biggest issue I have encountered is that "Copy, Cut and Paste" is no longer working.  How can this be? Such basic functionality gone!   I have been a Quicken use for over 20 years but I will switch if there is a decent alternative (there doesn't seem to be).  Does anyone have a solution to the "Copy, Cut and Paste" issue?  Thanks.

Quicken is aware of the context issue introduced by the switchover from MicroSoft's .NET Framework 2.0 to .NET Framework 4.0 in Quicken 2014 that impacts the use of the shortcut keys and a few specific cases were addressed in Quicken 2015 and 2016:   http://www.quicken.com/support/key-bugs-fixed-and-closed-quicken-windows-2016

Instead of Ctrl + C, Ctrl +V, Ctrl + B or Ctrl + InsertShift + Insert, Shift + Del you may use Alt + E, and C, PT.

If you would like the selected context to be visibly obvious and for the default context selected to be intuitive and a configurable audible error and visible flash when a key is pressed out of context provide feedback to Intuit's Quicken team so that these issues will be addressed is to post them at: https://www.research.net/s/QuickenFeedback
