Restored Payment Instructions keep duplicating entries in register, Quicken crashes, and Discover Ca

When paying bills on line 80+ previously paid entries keep getting restored thereby duplicating entries in my check register.  After deleting them one by one the first time this occurred they continue to be restored when I pay a new bill on line duplicating entries in the check register again.  I am using the latest version of Quicken for Mac 2007 for Lion and 10.8.1 Mountain Lion.
Also, still get OL-290 from Discover Card attempts and program crashing when accepting bank transactions downloaded.  No light at the end of the tunnel for these two problems.  Have done the reindexing Quicken said would fix the crashing problem and created a new data file.
Bottom line, not Mountain Lion compatible.

    I also have been getting the OL-290 trying to download from Discover. Quicken says it is Discover's problem, but have spent the last 2 days with Discover web support and they say  that Quicken 2007 Lion  needs to be updated ?? I have the latest version according to the "Update Check". Have sent them many log files. The last time I was able to download transactions was August 17. This needs to be addressed ASAP. Over a month now. NOT ACCEPTABLE  !!!

    Just had a successful Discovery Card download, albeit 210 transactions (well into last year).  Deleted all but about the last 6 entries since I've been entering the last several months manually.  Some one did something, don't know who or what.  There is light at the end of the tunnel now.
