I run Quicken for MAC 16.0.2 - R3 Last Two weeks get error message OL- 249 when I try to download my Citibank CC charges. No problem with other CCs ie: American Express.

Have done all the Update procedures - this must be on Citibank's side. Any ideas or news?

The CitiCARDS site modified its  SSL security protocols on their servers in late February 2013.  The result is Quicken Mac (and PC, I believe) can no longer connect and directly download data into various accounts.  The CitiBANK servers still work correctly.

Worse, you can manually download transactions but can not upload them without creating a new account in your Quicken file--  Which is really no help at all.

Citi says they followed all of the Intuit technical specs and is relying on Intuit to provide a fix for why it's not working.  The problem (on Mac) seems to be isolated to a Pkg file called: 'Fidir.txt'.  This file contains all of the financial institutions that quicken can connect with.  Supposedly a modification the the 'Citicards' financial Instution could solve the ptoble.

Attempst to disconnect and reconnect the accounts fails.

Intuit?..  Do you read these posts?
