Have there been any problems using Quicken Lion 2007 with Lion OS?
I have been using Quicken for Mac 2007 version 16.1.4 build 23.880.400 (the Lion compatible version) with Mac OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) with few problems for a year or so. I would like to update my operating system to Lion or Mountain Lion, but I am worried that I will have problems with Quicken if I do, even though Intuit claims all is well. Can anyone share their experience using this version with Lion or Mountain Lion?
Thanks

I don't use 16.1.4 extensively, but I have run it user 10.7/7/8.
I didn't notice any operational problems between the different versions. And from what I have gleaned here, the bugs that people encounter in 2007-Lion stem from the old program itself, and not the OS it is run under. When this was released, people were really rediscovering some old bugs that has existed for years (and in some cases, multiple versions of QMac).
I have not seen anybody claim "I was using 2007-LC, and once I upgraded to Lion, [XYZ] was broken". So, I wouldn't worry about upgrading your OS.
I do know there were some isolated cases of some banks not working because of security measures. Tamara can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this is related more to the old versus new version of 2007, and not what OS it is run under. In other words, if you can download under Snow Leopard (with LC), you will be able to under 10.7 or 10.8.
